Visualise plant processes and manage production deviations in real-time
Minimise production losses due to deviations with the MPA software suite. Detect and immediately respond to issues to meet targets with confidence
Trusted by Operations Managers and Metallurgists at leading mining companies
Manual monitoring methods don't provide the necessary visibility, reliability and responsiveness in mineral processing
No real-time visibility
Excel sheets don’t integrate well with historians and SCADA systems to provide real-time visibility over plant processes.
Poor reliability
The data and macros in Excel are prone to errors and inefficient for the timely detection of production deviations.
Slow response
Teams rely on experienced personnel or production meetings to respond to production issues.
Every production deviation adds up, resulting in missed targets
Empower your frontline team with the MPA software suite for live visualisation of plant processes and timely management of production deviations
Visualise plant processes live
With the Golden State Overview dashboard, you gain complete real-time visibility into every area of your mineral processing plant on a single screen. With this live view, you can immediately spot when a plant area is operating outside of the standard range.
Respond accurately to issues
You can configure actions for standard deviations and when an issue is detected, Digital TARP automatically recommends the correct action response to manage it. This allows the frontline teams to address the problems without waiting for directions in the next production meeting.
Apps in the MPA software suite
Logsheets
Digitise and manage operator comments and observations. Minimise errors and immediately respond to production issues.
Golden State
Visualise key performance drivers to identify when unit operations are outside limits.
Digital TARP
Ensuring teams follow the plan and make quicker and better decisions when things go wrong.
Alarm Manager
Alarm management made smarter. Centrally monitor and manage plant alarms within the ISA 18.2 standard.
Loop Performance
Measure and optimise control loop health and performance across the entire operation.
Production Reporting
Enable your team with integrated and pre-populated production reports pulled from multiple data sources.
Asset / Process Health
Identify, assess and address at-risk assets and processes to prevent looming downtime.
Production Monitor
Production Monitor ensures that you have complete visibility and control over production variability and downtime events by detecting and managing underperformance as soon as or before it happens, whilst alerting relevant stakeholders. By comparing actual against theoretical models in real-time you will identify under-performance and critical bottlenecks.

How it works
Choose apps
Choose the apps you'd like to get started with, like Logsheets, Golden State, Digital TARP or Production Reporting. You can always add more apps later.
Setup
We'll setup your MPA suite based on the plant processes and integrate it with your existing systems to get you up and running.
Respond
Visualise plant processes in real-time, timely detection of deviations and respond accurately to issues for improved production without uncertainty.
What our customers say about MPA
Northern Star Resources Pogo worked with Mipac at Pogo on the digitisation of the operator logsheets into the MPA system and are extremely pleased with the results. Mipac went above and beyond to accommodate specific feature requests that were not yet included in MPA and were very helpful in putting the vision of the logsheets to paper (pardon the pun). Mipac’s quick responses and attention to detail have made the roll-out seamless, saving time for operations and the met team on a daily basis, while also allowing for the plant data to now be live-monitored by the team. The benefits from MPA were realised immediately.

FAQs
Our solutions can be implemented in as little as two weeks.
The implementation timeframe of our solutions can vary depending on several factors such as the complexity of the existing processes, which application is being deployed and whether there is existing infrastructure in place. If a like-for-like implementation is required, such as moving from Excel to MPA for the logsheet application, the implementation can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks once the base system is set up. For more complex projects, such as automating your production reporting, the timeline typically ranges from 12 to 16 weeks depending on the number of reports to be developed.
It’s important to note that the exact duration will depend on the specific requirements of each project.
If you don’t already have an MPA Server installed, we would require a virtual or physical server, ideally with Windows Server 2019. We would require administrator access to the server to install the pre-requisite software and configure MPA for connection to your plant data.
You will require an AVEVA PI historian with a PI AF (Asset Framework) server. If you don’t have AF setup yet Mipac can assist with this too. In order for MPA to connect to AVEVA PI, you require the PSA (PI System Access) licence. Mipac can support you with obtaining the licence, or you can liaise directly with your AVEVA account manager.
Working with your IT group, Mipac would also require a service account to access the PI Data Archive and PI AF Server.
No, it is not mandatory to have AVEVA PI to utilise our applications. While some of our applications do utilise AVEVA PI AF capabilities, we also offer integration options that allow direct connectivity to other common data sources within your operation. These can include your historian, control system, alarm database, or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
Our goal is to seamlessly integrate with your existing systems and provide flexible options for data integration. We encourage you to reach out to us to discuss how you can leverage MPA’s capabilities and explore the best solution that aligns with your specific requirements.
We understand that different customers have different support needs, which is why we offer two levels of support. Our standard support package is designed for customers who need basic support, while our premium support package is ideal for customers with more complex needs or customised solutions.
Standard support provides access to our knowledgeable support team for assistance with any software-related issues you may encounter. Standard support covers typical software application issues such as bugs and incidents. Standard support will be available during normal business hours.
Premium support offers access to expertise for complex issues that may require specialised knowledge supporting application or infrastructure problems. Premium support can be tailored to the size and complexity of the installed system and the desired response timeframe
